Ghana star, Mohammed Kudus was a key man for West Ham United on Wednesday night as he scored his fourth goal for the team to help the side to defeat Arsenal 3-1 in the EFL Cup.

In the Round 16 game of the domestic cup competition, the Black Stars poster boy started on the flanks for the Hammers as he put on a show for the fans.

The attacker impressed throughout the 89 minutes he played for West Ham United.

His shining moment came in the 50th minute when he scored with a curling effort after a chance fell to him in the Arsenal area.

In a game played at the Olympic Stadium in London, West Ham United fought very hard and deserved their victory.

The hosts scored first in the 16th minute of the first half through an own goal by Arsenal defender Ben White.

In the 60th minute, Jared Bowen got his name on the scoresheet to make it 3-0 for the Hammers.

Despite the improved performance of Arsenal, the team only netted a consolation through Martin Odegaard in added time and had to succumb to a 3-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win means West Ham United are through to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
