VIDEO: Ghanaian forwarad Ishmael Yartey scores as KPV Kokkola suffer defeat to Inter Turku

Ghanaian forward Ishmael Yartey scored his fourth goal of the season for KPV Kokkola as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Inter Turku in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.

Yartey struck a powerful shot to the top right corner beating the host's goalkeeper to the ball as his side slipped to a narrow loss.

Inter Turku took an early lead in the 4th minute of the game courtesy Timo Furuholm strike.

Despite creating lots of chances, both sides failed to score until the 22-year-old scored a stunning goal to equalised for KPV

However, KPV couldn't hold on for a point as Connor James Ruane scored the winner for Inter to secure all three points.

The former Ghana U-20 star player has been a cog for KPV scoring four goals in his last five games for the side he joined in the summer transfer window.

He has picked two Most Valuable Player of the Match awards in five games.
