Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has expressed his delight after signing for Belgian top-flight side Gent in the on-going summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old penned a three-deal with the club after passing his mandatory and completing the formalities on Friday.

Bukari has been attracting interest from several clubs in Europe including Galatasaray, Monaco, Parma and Sporting Lisbon following his exploits at Slovakian top-flight side Trencin last season but he has opted to join the Belgian giants ahead of next season.

He was the standout player at his club and was regarded as one of the best attackers in the Slovakia top-flight after winning eight Man-of-the-Match awards.

Bukari scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists in 30 matches for his club Trencin last term.

He played a total of 66 matches for the Slovakian club where scored 16 goals and provided 25 assists in the process.

The highly-rated youngster joined the Slovak top-flight side in 2018 from Ghanaian side Accra Lions.
