VIDEO: Ghana's Black Queens open camp to prepare for Namibia tie – 2024 WAFCON qualifiers

The Black Queens of Ghana have opened camp in Accra ahead of the first-leg meeting with Namibia in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Over the past weekend, Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle named her squad of 23 players for the upcoming two-legged encounter.

Ahead of the first game, the invited players on Monday evening reported to camp. Coach Nora Hauptle and her assistants are also in camp.

The Black Queens are expected to hold a first training session this evening to prepare for the game.

Ghana’s Black Queens host their counterpart from Namibia on Friday, December 1.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana will hope to win the game to take advantage of the reverse fixture the following week.

The 2024 WAFCON will be hosted by Morocco.
