In a CAF Champions League match at Cape Coast Sports Stadium, a ball boy played a crucial role in Medeama's opening goal against Horoya AC.

The Yellow and Mauves secured a 3-1 victory in front of their home fans.

The hosts faced a tough challenge in the first half, with the visitors defending their ground.

However, the turning point came early in the second half, as Medeama broke the deadlock just three minutes after halftime.

This crucial goal was made possible by a ball boy who showed exceptional awareness when the ball went out of play.

As Medeama looked to build momentum, they had a throw-in.

The ball boy swiftly retrieved the ball and efficiently returned it to Jonathan Sowah, keeping the game going.

This well-executed throw-in caught the Guinean defense off guard, providing an opening for Nana Kofi Babil to score.

Nurudeen Abdulai extended Medeama's lead in the 65th minute from a corner kick, while Kofi Asmah sealed the deal with a remarkable strike, securing the third goal.

In a late surge, Horoya managed to salvage a consolation goal in the 89th minute, securing a crucial away goal for their side.
