In the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis in the country, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has seen to it that the club’s secretariat is fumigated.

In a video posted on the official YouTube page of the Porcupine Warriors, personnel from Zoomlion are seen fumigating the entire building of the secretariat based in Kumasi.

Explaining the rationale behind the fumigation of the secretariat, the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko Mr. Joseph Yaw Addo has shared that it is to ensure that staff and visitors are protected.

“The Kotoko secretariat is open to the public and everybody that wants information, the coaches, the players, the technical staff, everybody can come here.

“Our staff working here are also important so we need to protect ourselves and also protect those who will come here. That is why I have asked Zoomlion to fumigate the place to fight against the pandemic”, the board member said in an interview with the Kotoko Express.

Just last Tuesday, the newly formed Interim Management Committee of the Ghanaian giants started working at the secretariat of the club.

With Joseph Yaw Adu as the chair for the committee, he is working alongside Kofi Abban, Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Martin Brobbey, and Kwamina Mensah.
