VIDEO: No Need to Look! Why Lewandowski Showed He's a Cool Customer With Penalty Against Arsenal

Published on: 07 March 2017

Bayern Munich's 10-2 aggregate win over Arsenal was the second highest margin of victory across a two-legged tie in the Champions League.

The Bavarians already hold the record for the biggest win, a 12-1 win over Sporting Lisbon back 2012, however the victory over Arsenal was just as comfortable as Carlo Ancelotti's men scored time and time again to show their opponents no mercy.

One of Bayern's simplest goals that was scored onTuesday in the second-leg, came via the penalty spot, when the felledRobert Lewandowski picked himself up to bring his side level on the night and as it turns out, began a torturous second half for Arsene Wenger's men.

With Laurent Koscielny being given his marching orders moments before Lewandowski equalised, life was only getting easier for the German champions, so much so, that their Polish striker did something rather unusual when he took his penalty.

Replays have shown that the forward never once looked at the ball, or the rest of the goal, as his eyes remained transfixed on Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina's movements.

Having slotted the ball right into the bottom right-hand corner, Lewandowski proved that his goalscoring instincts really are on another level and makes you think that Bayern could still have wonthe tie blindfolded.
