VIDEO: Nyantakyi has been vindicated, AFCON budget is senseless – Sefa Kayi confesses

Popular host of Peace FM morning show Kokrokoo, Kwame Sefa Kayi has confessed that the $4.5m spent on Ghana’s disastrous AFCON outing does not make sense and has vindicated former President of the Ghana FA Kwesi Nyantakyi.

To him, it’s absolutely outrageous for Ghana to table a budget of over $6m for a tournament that will fetch the country $4.5m for lifting the trophy.

Sefa Kayi, a once hard critic of Kwesi Nyantakyi added that the former FIFA Council member has been vindicated with the figures popping up.

Over the years, a section of the media had demonized the Kwesi Nyantakyi administration, tagging them with the ‘sika die’ mantra, meaning chopping money.

But following the revelation of the budget for the tournament, Sefa Kayi claims Nyantakyi was not at fault.

“…Black Stars is a cash cow for some people…Kwesi Nyantakyi has been vindicated….,” Sefa Kayi said on Peace FM.
