VIDEO: Olivier Giroud's Stunning Arsenal Scorpion Kick Goal Recreated in Lego

Published on: 28 February 2017

If Olivier Giroud's scorpion kick goal wasn't good enough in reality, it has now been recreated in lego form.

The Frenchman scored what is likely to be the goal of the season against Crystal Palace on New Year's Daywhen he reacted superbly to Alexis Sanchez's slightly off-centre cross.

A brilliant goal has now been brilliantly immortalised on YouTube by a lego animation fromWeevil888.

The clip shows the complete counter attack from start to finish, before ending with Giroud's phenomenal finish. The realism of the striker's hair is debatable, but the goal itself is almost a mirror image of the real thing.

There's even some topical humour at the end, with a nod to the Wenger in, Wenger out debate.

If Giroud manages to win the Puskas award as a result of the goal, it could be that this video is looked back on in years to come.
