VIDEO: Samuel Tetteh scores first goal for Adanaspor against Adiyamanspor SK in Turkish Cup

Ghana forward Samuel Tetteh bagged his first goal for Adanaspor in their 2-0 win over Adiyamanspor SK in the round of 64 of the Turkish Cup on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old put up an impressive performance as he helped his side cruise to the next round of the competition.

Tetteh opened the scoring for the home side in the 40th minute before Nigerian forward Igwilo Kingsley made it 2-0 in the 90th minute to seal the victory for Adanaspor.

He is yet to score in the Turkish second-tier league since he joined Adanaspor in the summer.

Tetteh has scored made eight appearances and scored one goal across all competitions so far this season.

He had four loan spells after joining Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.

Tetteh left Ghana Premier League side WAFA in 2016 in search of greener pastures and landed in Austrian club FC Liefering.

He then moved to RB Salzburg a year later and had a number of loan stints. His last spell was with fellow Austrian side SKN St. Pölten.

Tetteh has scored 35 goals in 154 appearances since 2016.
