Hearts of Oak full-back Larry Sumaila has charged fans of the club to comply with all safety measures against the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic to ensure they stay safe and in good health.

The country continues in its fight against the global pandemic while players of all clubs stay at home due to the suspension of the 2019/2020 Ghanaian football season.

While the football fraternity awaits for the resumption of the season, everyone has been asked to follow the preventive measures as directed by the state and the health officials.

Larry Sumaila has joined the campaign and has called on all Phobians to ensure they follow all the protocols. According to him, the playing body of Hearts of Oak will need their supporters when the league comes back and hence they should do well to stay safe.

“Greetings to all our Phobian supporters. Please I hope you are all taking the necessary precautions given to us by our health officials. Please don’t forget to keep social distance whenever you go to town. Wash your hands under running water as frequently as you can", defender Larry Sumaila said in a video posted on the club's Twitter page.

Please have a personal hand sanitizer wherever you go and please stay at home. Stay at home if you don’t have any important agenda in town because your health means a lot to we the players. Please stay safe because when the league resumes we will like to see you all in good health because your support and hard work means a lot to us.

“Stay safe. By God willing we shall overcome this pandemic", he added.
