Thomas Partey has returned from club duties with a physio from Arsenal Simon Murphy ahead of Ghana's game against Angola in Kumasi.
Partey 29, was involved in Arsenal's 4-1 win against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League before flying to Ghana.
He has made twenty-three appearances for the Gunners and scored three goals in the league this season.
Thomas Partey last played for the Black Stars of Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar against Uruguay. Ghana was beaten 2-0 and exited the tournament bottom of Group H.
Ghana will play Angola in a double header this month in search of a ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Cote D’Ivoire in January next year.
The Black Stars will host Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23 before travelling to Luanda on March 27, 2023 for the reverse fixture.
The Black Stars will be playing in Kumasi for the first time since, Friday, March 25, 2022 when they played out a 0-0 draw in the 1st leg of the FIFA World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
