Bernard Mensah was on the score sheet in Redditch United's 2-0 win against Bromsgrove Sporting in the English Southern League on Saturday.
Bromsgrove Sporting started the game well in the opening minutes. A shot from Smalley in the 8th minute missed the target completely.
Sporting who were controlling the game had a free kick in a dangerous area after Pais was fouled. But the kick resulted in a corner instead.
The visitors didn't let their dominance count. Redditch United scored in the 44th minute through Jack Byrne after a wonderful team passing around the center circle to the box.
After halftime, Dawkins went close for Bromsgrove but his header was cleared off the line.
Redditch United scored their second goal of the game in the 55th minute through Bernard Mensah.
Bernard Mensah was substituted in the 75th minute.
Sporting made some changes to try and get something from the game but all their efforts went wide.
