Former Black Stars midfielder, Bernard Mensah, scored a spectacular goal as Al Tai played to a 3-3 draw against Al Fayha on Friday night in the Saudi Pro League.
The 29-year-old skillfully curled the ball into the net from outside the box, helping the hosts secure a 3-1 lead in the first half.
However, the visitors made a strong comeback in the second half, ultimately earning a well-fought draw at the Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musa’ed Stadium.
While Al Fayha took an early lead with a goal from Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme, Al Tai responded swiftly, with Enzo Roco finding the net just six minutes later.
Rakan Al-Shamlan then put the hosts in the lead, and Mensah extended their advantage in a thrilling ten-minute span.
After the hour mark, Henry Onyekuru managed to pull one back for Al Fayha, and Zambian forward Fashion Sakala completed the remarkable comeback.
