Former Right to Dream Academy winger Clinton Antwi climbed off the bench to score the only goal of the match for his club KuPS in their hard fought 1-0 home win over IIves in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.

During the first half, the yellow and black team had several excellent chances to score and the ball reached the goal line twice. Anton Popovitch was the first to reach the goal area.

His shot passed Ilves goalkeeper Otso Virtanen but the ball bounced from the left post to the right post. Jasse Tuominen's header hit the crossbar and bounced off the goal line back toward the field.

In the second half, KuPS's grip remained good, although Ilves was better able to catch the yellow and black team's game plan. However, after successful substitutions, the match saw a solution when the game had been played for 83 minutes.

The situation started with Henri Toivomäki's movement after a great passing pattern to Clinton Antwi, who shot with his left foot to give Kuopio a 1-0 lead.
