King Faisal put up an impressive fight on Sunday night to see off Hearts of Oak with a narrow 1-0 win in the Ghana Premier League.
The club based in Kumasi gradually is making a case for survival in the ongoing 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
The team hosted defending champions Hearts of Oak in a matchday 32 encounter of the Ghana Premier League season.
On the matchday, both teams played some good football and created fine scoring opportunities in the first half.
Unfortunately, neither side could score as the second half ended up being a fierce battle.
In the end, King Faisal left it late as an equaliser from Richard Akrofi in added time propelled the home team to an important 1-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
The three big points mean that King Faisal is now five points away from the relegation zone.
