Ghanaian talent Jonathan Agyekum led Brondby U19 to a narrow victory over Copenhagen U19 in the Denmark U19 League.
The 18-year-old sensation secured a 1-0 win for Brondby with a decisive goal after the hour mark on the evening of 1st May, 2024.
The first half of the game saw both teams struggling to break the deadlock, resulting in a goalless first 45 minutes.
However, after the break, Agyekum seized the opportunity and netted the winning goal just four minutes after the hour mark, unleashing a powerful left-footed shot from a tight angle.
Hailing from Denmark with Ghanaian heritage, Agyekum skillfully controlled a lobbed ball from the air before delivering a precision strike into the near post, securing all three points for his team.
With seven goals and two assists in seventeen games this season, Agyekum's exceptional performance has been pivotal for Brondby in the Danish U19 Boys League.
Remarkably, Agyekum remains eligible to represent either Ghana or Denmark, as he has not yet played for either national team.
