Ghana midifelder Mohammed Kudus was on the scoresheet as Ajax recorded a 4-0 win over SC Cambuur.

The 21-year-old again was introduced in the second half of matchday five of the 2022/23 Dutch Eredivisie.

Summer signing Steven Bergwijn bagged a brace in the first half to give the home team a comfortable lead.

In the second half of the game, Kudus replaced Brian Brobbey.

After coming on, Mohammed put up a good performance and led the attack of Ajax to the delight of his teammates and manager. In the 64th minute, the Black Stars poster boy latched onto a low cross from Calvin Bassey and slotted his effort into the back of the SC Cambuur net.

That equalizer sealed a 4-0 win for Ajax with Devyn Rensch netting the other goal for the Dutch Eredivisie defending champions.

The former FC Nordsjaelland pushed for a move away from Ajax before the deadline of the summer transfer window over the lack of playing time.

With Antony leaving Ajax to join Manchester United, the attacker hopes to play regularly to hit top form before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

This month, he will be part of the Ghana squad that will play Brazil and Nicaragua in the scheduled international friendly matches.
