Ghana forward Kwabena Owusu scored with a fantastic effort on Thursday night to help Qarabag to thrash FC Nantes 3-0 in the Europa League.
The talented striker started for the Azerbaijani club this evening in the matchday 2 encounter of Group G of this season’s Europa League.
On the back of a goalless draw from the first-half, Kwabena Owusu scored in the 60th minute after recess to shoot Qarabag into a deserved lead.
Thanks to additional goals from Abdellah Zoubir and Marko Jankovic, Qaranag held on to secure a delightful 3-0 win against FC Nantes.
Courtesy of the win, Qarabag have climbed to second on the Group G standings of the Europa League.
With his goal, Kwabena Owusu has two goals this season after making six appearances in all competitions.
