Toronto FC put an end to their three-game losing streak in Major League Soccer by defeating the New England Revolution with a stunning 66th-minute goal from Ghanaian forward Prince Osei Owusu.

The game took place at BMO Field and Toronto FC showed dominance with a crowd of 24,108 spectators in attendance.

Throughout the match, Toronto struggled to break through New England's defense, but goalkeeper Sean Johnson made crucial saves to keep the game tight.

However, a defensive mistake opened up an opportunity for Owusu. Ryan Spaulding's attempted clearance fell to substitute Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, who then assisted Owusu's impressive acrobatic backheel goal.

Despite their lead, Toronto missed a chance to extend it when Federico Bernardechi's penalty was saved by New England's Slovakian goalkeeper Henrich Ravas in the 76th minute.

With this victory, Owusu now has four goals for the season, building on his outstanding performance in the previous match against Charlotte where he scored twice as a substitute.
