A Ghanaian footballer, Papa Poloo could become the oldest active footballer in the world should a trial he is currently undertaking end successfully.

The 68-year-old had the dream to become a professional footballer to travel the world during his youthful days but it was cut short due to life’s unforeseen circumstances.

After several decades, Papa Poloo who explains that he got the name Poloo because he was likened to Hearts of Oak legend Mohammed Poloo is looking at securing on last chance at playing football.

He is currently on trails at a third-tier club in Kwahu Fodoa in the Eastern Region of Ghana and could land a deal in the coming days.
