VIDEO: Who? Pep Guardiola Buries Stan Collymore in Press Conference Response

Published on: 12 December 2016

Pep Guardiola may have endured his worst ever start as a manager, but he had the last laugh in his press conference ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash with Watford.

The two time Champions League winning coach was asked in Spanish about an article former Aston Villa and Liverpool strikerStan Collymore had written in theMirror, claiming the Catalan was headed for an early exit, if he didn't improve his attention to the finer details of defending.

Collymore wrote: "He is beyond deluded...If he thinks he doesn't need to teach tackling or one-on-one combat in training then he'll be going back to Spain with his tail between his legs."

They may have been strong words from big Stan, but when quoted directly to Guardiola (in Spanish) during his press conference, they didn't seem to have much effect.

Rough translation from the journalist: "Stan Collymore has said you are going to return to Spain with your tail between your legs. What do you think about that?"

To which Guardiola's reply needs no interpretation.
