Ghanaian youngster Benjamin Asamoah stood tall in the Cyprus top flight League this weekend as his late strike earned his side Doxa Katokopia a vital win over Ermis. Ermis took an early lead in the 16th minute to force Doxa into chasing the game. Back from recess,(Doxa) the visitors lifted up their performance and fetched the equaliser in the 50th minute through SADIK BERAT. Asamoah who has been the Star man for DOXA all season made a statement of intent in the 68th minute by hitting the crossbar with a powerful header. The home fans were stunned when Benjamin Asamoah scored the match winner in the 87th minute with a well taken shot. The 23year old midfielder was the toast of the fans.
