Vincenzo Montella is delighted with his new contract renewal at AC Milan.

The coach has penned new terms to 2019 and admits the offer came as a surprise on Tuesday.
"Now I'm finally clear, everything goes into the hands of the director who will have to build my team. It was an unexpected day, all very fast. A demonstration of how the will of all parties was common, we all kept the word given, it's a great pride and a great motivation," smiled Montella.
"We want to get started soon to try and get to the Champions League."

He continued: "A very exciting day, I'm excited about this project, it has important but difficult ambitions, I need this motivation to get the best of me."
