WAFA striker Daniel Lomotey elated to make international debut

West Africa Football Academy forward Daniel Lomotey has revealed his excitement after making his debut for the national team, the Black Stars team B in the International friendly against the Hawks of Togo.

Daniel Lomotey scored as the Black Stars team B beat their Togelese counterparts at the Stade de kague in Lome.

The 17 year old is having an amazing season with league leaders WAFA where he has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists for the club.

The striker was introduced in the second half of the friendly against Togo where he scored the winner in the 72nd minute.

"I'm very excited to get my first goal for my country. I thank the technical team, my teammates, coaches Kwasi Appiah and Maxwell Konadu and the entire technical team for giving me such an opportunity,"  Lomotey said

"I'm hoping to be fit to continue with my goal-scoring form and pray that I get more goals for Ghana in the CHAN qualifiers if I am given the opportunity," Lomotey confidently added.

Lomotey is back with club side WAFA and played a role in the club’s 2-0win over Bechem United in the match day 22 of the Ghana Premier League.
