WAFU B U20 Girls Cup: The full squad is fit for Benin game tomorrow - Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi

The head coach of the Ghana U20 Girls national team, Coach Yusif Basigi has provided injury update in camp ahead of the start of the 2023 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup of Nations tournament.

Speaking after the Black Princesses training on Friday, the gaffer disclosed that every player in camp is fit and ready for the opening match against Benin on Saturday.

“We came to train for an hour and you can see the mood in camp is positive and the players are ready for the game against Benin.

“For injury situation in camp, we are working closely with the medical team and they have assured us of no injury concern in camp. We have our full squad fit for the game tomorrow,” Coach Yusif Basigi said.

The Black Princesses coach continued, ”We entreat all Ghanaians to come to the stadium in their numbers to support and cheer us to victory.”

Ghana will take on Benin tomorrow at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the opening match at the WAFU Zone B Girls tournament.

Coach Basigi is confident his girls will get a win to get off to a bright start.
