Wahab Adams fit for Kotoko-San Pedro match

Published on: 31 October 2019

Asante Kotoko defender Wahab Adams has returned from injury ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup second leg fixture with San Pedro in Abidjan.

The center-back has recovered from a groin injury that sidelined him against Kano Pillars and Etoile du Sahel. He also missed the first leg game against San Pedro in Kumasi.

His return will boost the Porcupines backline which fell short in the game against San Pedro in Kumasi with Habib Mohammed's suspension.

Adams joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal from Aduana Stars as a free agent after refusing to renew his contract.

Kotoko leaves for Cote dā€™ Ivoire on Friday with a 1-0 advantage recorded in the first leg match.
