The Ghana international was signed by the club in the January transfer window as he moved from Spanish La Liga outfit Deportivo Alaves for a reported fee of 3 million Euros.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis that hit China and later the entire world, Mubarak Wakaso could not make the trip to China to meet his new teammates.

He however managed to train with Jiangsu Suning during a short training tour in Dubai before most countries shut down their airspace.

Having stayed in Ghana for the last 5 months, Mubarak Wakaso has finally left the West Africa country to China.
