Watford striker Odion Ighalo was one of the surprise packages of the 2015-16 season.

The Nigeria international bagged an impressive 15 goals in 37 Premier League appearances as the Hornets finished 13th in the league. Ighalo formed a formidable striking partnership with club captain Troy Deeney but has failed to impress this campaign.

The 27-year-old has managed just one goal and one assist in 18 Premier League appearances this season, and his struggles in front of goal have been perfectly highlighted in one tweet from OptaJoe.

Ighalo has managed just three goals from his 81 shots in the Premier League since the beginning of 2016, a stat which highlights a potential need for the former Udinese hitman to work on his shooting in training a little more vigorously.

Watford may need their star man to start firing again if they are to avoid the drop, although the Hertfordshire club are currently eight points above the relegation zone and should be able to pull clear of a potential relegation scrap.
