Black Queens midfielder, Jennifer Cudjoe is upbeat ahead of Ghana’s match against Namibia.
The Ghana women’s national team will host their counterpart from Namibia on Friday, December 1, in the first leg of a tie in the qualifiers for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Jennifer Cudjoe said every player in the camp wants to help Ghana qualify for the 2023 WAFCON.
“A few of us haven’t been to the WAFCON before. This will be my first time so the conversation is always about what would it look like to be there. Everybody knows why we are here, we have been out for a long time and this is the time we have to use the opportunity to get back into the WAFCON again. We all want to be there because that’s our goal,” Jennifer Cudjoe said.
The game between Ghana and Namibia will be played on Friday, December 1.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
