Assistant coach for the Black Meteors of Ghana, Coach Godwin Attram has noted that the team is ready to face their counterpart from Mozambique this weekend.

Ghana’s U23 team will take on the Mozambique U23 team on Sunday in the second leg of the tie in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2023 CAF U23 Championship.

Speaking to Original FM on the Super Sports Show, Coach Attram called on Ghanaians to support the team to overcome the opponent.

“We are very determined to fight for us to qualify against Mozambique coming Sunday at the Baba Yara sports stadium

“We have a strong squad who are focused and ready to deliver on Sunday for us to qualify to the next stage of the qualifiers, we will need Ghanaian support on Sunday to secure qualification to the next stage of the AFCON U23 qualifiers,” the Black Meteors assistant coach said.

Ghana holds a 2-1 advantage from the first leg of the tie against Mozambique.

The Meteors need to avoid a defeat to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
