We are in talks to appoint Oti Akenteng as our head coach - King Faisal CEO Anwar Sadat

The Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal Football Club, Anwar Sadat has revealed that they are in talks to appoint former Ghana FA technical director Francis Oti Akenteng as their head coach.

The Kumasi based club after losing 2-1 to Hearts of Oak on Saturday dissolved its technical team and are now without a head coach and an assistant coach.

As speculations continue about who will take up the vacant head coach job at King Faisal, club CEO Anwar Sadat has disclosed that talks are ongoing to bring on board Francis Oti Akenteng.

“Its true we have dissolved our technical team our performance is very bad in the Ghana premier league though are good coaches but we are in talk's with former GFA technical director Sir Francis Oti Akenteng as King Faisal Head Coach and Andy Sinason as Assistant coach,” Anwar Sadat told Hot FM in an interview on Monday.

It is understood that talks are far advance and an official announcement on the appointment of the new head coach could be made before Wednesday.
