We are motivated and will fight to beat Wydad, says Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed

Hearts of Oak captain, Fatawu Mohammed has assured fans that players will fight to defeat Wydad AC on Sunday.

The Phobians will this weekend take on the Moroccan champions in the first of a scheduled two-legged meeting in the playoffs of the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Fatawu Mohammed who is captain for Hearts of Oak has revealed that motivation in camp is very high.

“What I can say is that the motivation is very very high. We know the match will be tough for either side. We are working very well and we will fight for the win,” he told Angel FM in Accra.

The Hearts of Oak captain continued, “We are the Ghanaian champions and we will show why we are champions. We are only calling on our fans to support us so that we can get the needed victory.”

The match between Hearts of Oak and Wydad AC will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
