Ebusua Dwarfs head coach Ernest Thompson Quartey has confirmed that the club has initiated the process to bring new players into the team.

Before the league was suspended, Dwarfs were one place above bottom placed King Faisal with just 11 points amassed.

In an interview with Royal FM, Thompson revealed how the club were trying to get new signings.

“The coronavirus has brought a lot of things to a halt but since the GFA has opened a second transfer window, we are looking to beef up certain positions in the team. Before the break, we did an invitational trials to get some players. We also went scouting some players that we feel that we can bring them on board.”

“At the end, we made some selections and we spoke to some players that we monitored. We give the list to management and as I speak, they have initiated the process to get the players we mentioned to them. They are negotiating their contracts.”
