Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu has charged his players to stay focus and win their remaining games.

The Phobians secured an important 1-0 win over their rivals, Asante Kotoko in the matchday 31 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A second-half strike by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was enough for the home side.

The victory took Samuel Boadu’s men three points clear at the top with just three games remaining.

With tipping the Phobians to end their 12 years trophy drought, Boadu admitted they are on course but they will work hard to win their remaining matches to be able to win the title.

"It is not going to be easy at all. We do respect all the Premier League clubs that we take match after match,” Boadu told StarTimes in a pitchside interview.

”We have finished with this match and the subsequent matches, we will take them one by one.

Asked if the title a done deal after this win, Boadu said, "Not yet we have to fight hard to get all the three matches (nine points).

"I can say that we are course but we need to work extra and win the next match against [Ebusua] Dwarfs,” he added.

Hearts of Oak’s three games are against Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals and WAFA.
