The upcoming WAFU B Women's Cup of Nations has already begun to generate excitement among fans of women's football across the country.

One national side that is particularly focused on this tournament is the Black Princesses of Ghana, who have been working tirelessly to prepare for the competition.

Their coach, Yusif Basigi, has been busy assembling a talented and committed team that he believes has what it takes to compete at the highest level.

"We have gotten quite a number of good players objectively we will be raising a very good team for the WAFU tournament. Already if you look at those coming from the under 17 it wouldn't be too difficult," Basigi told GFA Communications.

"But we have some who will be 20 this year born in 2003 and I have decided that I wouldn't need them because if you add them and use them for this tournament it means that you are going to start all over again after the tournament and for the World Cup qualifiers. Meanwhile, we have equally good players who can fit into categories or their positions,"
