FC Samartex 1996 head coach, Nurudeen Adamu, has revealed the club's aspirations to represent Ghana in the CAF inter-club competition next season should they clinch the Premier League title this season.

The Samreboi-based club currently leads the Premier League table with 52 points from 28 games, leaving them with approximately seven matches to play in the 2023/24 campaign.

Speaking to Graphic Sports, Coach Nurudeen expressed their determination to compete in the CAF Champions League next season, affirming that they are fully prepared to seize the opportunity to represent the country on the continental stage.

Acknowledging the challenges of CAF competitions, Coach Nurudeen stressed the importance of bolstering their squad with experienced players to navigate the demanding tournament.

He cited Dreams FC's impressive performance in the competition this season as a model for FC Samartex to emulate, expressing confidence in the backing from the club's management and board of directors.

Drawing inspiration from Dreams FC's unexpected success, Coach Nurudeen emphasized the significance of determination, commitment, and organizational support in achieving their objectives.

He also highlighted the financial advantages of participation, pointing out the opportunity to showcase their players to foreign clubs, potentially generating revenue for the club.

Despite acknowledging the financial strain and the need for experience, Coach Nurudeen insisted that FC Samartex must dare to pursue their ambitions.

He reiterated their dedication to following Dreams FC's example and expressed readiness to overcome any hurdles they may face in pursuit of their CAF inter-club aspirations.
