Tema Youth bankroller, Wilfred Osei Palmer, has stated that his club is yet to receive the widely reported €500,000 from the transfer of Thomas Partey.
Earlier this month, it was widely reported that Tema Youth received €500,000 from the transfer of Thomas Partey to Arsenal.
According to FIFA rules, clubs that played a part in developing a player receives a share. Tema Youth was one of those clubs.
“We are yet to receive anything from Arsenal for Thomas Partey," Palmer told Graphic Sports.
"I don’t know where those reports are coming from as far as we are concerned. I was surprised to read on the internet that we have received the said amount because that is not the reality on the ground.”
