A board member of Asante Kotoko, Yaw Adu has assured fans that the club will do its best to ensure the team does well in the CAF Champions League next season.
According to him, it will mean the club lacks technical in-depth if any official boldly says the club will bring home the trophy.
“I cannot emphatically say we are winning the competition (Africa) because doing that doesn't come at easily.
“We are rather going to work and play very well to reach get to respectable position.
“Anyone who promise to win it, lacks technical in-depth,” Asante Kotoko board member Yaw Adu told Akoma FM in an interview.
He further shared, “The King (Otumfuo) has requested we win the Africa so we are preparing extremely well to tackle this campaign.”
Courtesy of becoming champions of the Ghana Premier League last season, Asante Kotoko will be playing in the Champions League in the next edition.
