Ghanaian forward Elvis Manu has insisted that his Ludogorets outfit deserved to win their clash against Dinamo Brest in the final round of the playoff to the group stage of the Uefa Europa League.
The highly-rated striker climbed off the bench on Thursday to score and assist to inspire the Bulgarian giants to a crucial 2-0 win against the Belarusian opponent.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Elvis Manu says his team played well enough to deserve the win.
"I think it was a game where we had to show a fight because we only had one chance. We don't play at home and away, we only have one game. One mistake can cost you a place ahead”, Manu said in his interview.
He continued, “We were a little shy at first. we improved the match and controlled the game. You saw it in the second half. I think we won deservedly, "said the author of the first goal”.
In line with the win against Dinamo Brest, Ludogorets will be playing in this season’s Uefa Europa League competition.
