We didn't give up after red card against PSG - Dennis Appiah

FC Nantes were unable to defeat PSG at La Beaujoire. A 3-0 loss was clearly visible. Canaries defender Dennis Appiah admits the club did not give up after Brazilian Fabio was sent off in the 24th minute.

After the game, Dennis Appiah reacted to the result and stated that playing against PSG is complicated and that the red card made things more difficult for his team.

“It's hard, we made a lot of effort ten against eleven against a team that has a lot of control. I come out tired and disappointed with this game. At 0-0, we are in the game, we have a lot of control then we take this goal which is avoidable and on which there may be a fault (in the middle of the field on Castelletto)," he said.

"Inevitably, then, the red penalizes us too much. At eleven against eleven against Paris, it's complicated then at ten against eleven with all the spaces there are and the control they have, we have to give in. Even at ten, we didn't give up. We didn't want to take a suitcase, already 3-0 it's tough so if we take 6 or 7… Since the coach is there, it's our strength, we never let go. The wounds ? I hope that for Jean-Charles (Castelletto) it's not serious because we need him and we have already lost a lot of people. I think we'll get some people back before Thursday,"
