We don't need a radical shake up of the Black Stars – Majority leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu

Published on: 25 January 2024

Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu has dismissed the notion of a radical shake-up for the Black Stars.

Expressing his views on the team's struggles, Mensah-Bonsu, a prominent figure in Ghana politics, emphasized a measured approach to addressing the challenges faced by the national football squad.

This comes as Ghana faces the aftermath of its second early departure from AFCON, following a notably shambolic showing in the 33rd edition in Cameroon.

Ghana left the 33rd edition in Cameroon with one point and the 34th edition in Ivory Coast with 2 points after three games.

"The team has good balance now so far as I am concerned up front you will need one or two you don't need a radical shake up of this team," Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu told Angel FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"Up front you will need one or who and also the backline you need one or two," he added.
