The Obuasi-based club was selected as Ghana’s representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup after the 2019-2020 football season was canceled.
Football pundits and some fans are questioning the readiness of the Obuasi-based club as well as Asante Kotoko to represent Ghana on the continent, but the club’s CEO thinks differently.
Speaking to local radio station Nhyira FM he said
“It was a great feeling after I heard we will be representing Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup. AshantiGold SC is ready for Africa,”
“We have a license A Coach who is in Portugal because of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.
