Medeama CEO, James Essilfie has categorically denied the signing of free agent Sogne Yacouba although he confirmed that talks are still ongoing with the forward.
The Burkinabe left Asante Kotoko at the end of his contract in April and has been subject to many possible moves locally and abroad.
In an interview with OTEC FM, Essilfie denied the reports of a deal agreed with the talented forward.
"I’ve seen such stories, I’ve not seen the player ever since we played against them in the league".
“I’ve seen the stories but we have not signed him(Yacouba), although talks are ongoing. Its not just Medeama, other clubs are also talking to him”, he concluded.
