Defender Samuel Inkoom has urged Hearts of Oak players and supporters to maintain the unity they showed during their game against Asante Kotoko in President's Cup.

Before the encounter Hearts of Oak had lost against Accra Great Olympics in the Accra Derby and some supporters clash with the head coach Slavko Matic at their training grounds.

This incident led to coach Slavko Matic lodging a complaint at the Police Headquarters.

Despite all these the Phobians on Sunday beat the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 in the Super Clash/President's Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium. They won the President's Cup for the second time in a row after last year's victory.

"I think in life certain things will happen and you know what you want in life you will just focus. Everybody is happy and the most important thing we have to do we have to come together like what we did today," Inkoom said after the game.

"Without the players there will not be any team without the supporters there will not be any player. So I think we have to keep the spirit I am so happy you can see the fans everybody was together screaming, singing and that is the important thing. That's the beauty of the game,"
