Asante Kotoko legend Abdul Razak has offered valuable advice to the current players of the team amid their inconsistent performance in the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors has endured a tough season, winning eleven, losing eleven and drawing seven after 29 matches into the Ghana Premier League campaign so far this season.

Before paying a courtesy call on the Life Patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Kotoko had picked a single point in their previous seven matches.

But it appears the Ghanaian giants has rediscovered their form after picking four points from their last two games.

They secured a 1-0 victory against Samartex in Kumasi before earning a point in Tarkwa against Medeama.

With 40 points, the record league holders find themselves in 10th position on the standings in the soon-to-end season.

Speaking to Akoma FM, Razak entreated the players to be disciplined and adhere to the coach’s directives to make themselves proud.

“Asante Kotoko players must be more serious and disciplined, as a footballer, you are not better than the coach, do what the coach says to make the club and yourself proud” he said.

With five games to end the season, the Porcupine Warriors will be aiming to finish the campaign on a high note.
