We have to work hard to beat Sudan – Otto Addo

Otto Addo has stressed the need for Ghana to work extra hard to secure victory against Sudan in their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Group F doubleheader.

"Besides all the tactics and the quality, we have to show the passion, especially defensively, and the intensity defensively to beat this team. If we show it, everything is possible, and we can take points from there," Otto Addo emphasized.

Ghana’s qualification campaign has gotten off to a poor start, drawing criticism from fans. In their first Group F game against Angola at Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium, Ghana lost 1-0 after a lackluster performance.

The team followed this with a 1-1 draw against Niger in Berkane, Morocco. Although Alidu Seidu scored for Ghana, Niger equalized through Oumar Sako in added time.

Ghana will face Sudan in October and will be eager to secure wins in both games to strengthen their chances of advancing in the tournament.
