Ghana captain Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after making his debut for Nottingham Forest in victory over Leeds United in the English Premier League.

Ayew made a cameo appearance as his side defeated Leeds United 1-0 on Sunday.

The Ghana international was introduced in the 90th minute mark as his side secured a narrow win over their opponent.

The 33-year-old came on for Neco Williams to help his side secure victory as they seek to escape relegation in the English top-flight.

Brennan Johnson strike in the 14th minute propelled Nottingham Forest to victory at the The City Ground stadium.

After the game, Ayew took to social media to express his delight and has urged the club to keep pushing for their goal.

"Three points and great team spirit, my debut in our stadium with our unbelievable fans. We keep going!"

Ayew joined Nottingham Forest until the end of the season as a free agent last week after parting ways with Qatari champions Al Sadd.
