Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo says his outfit inability to concentrate to till the final whistle cost them their defeat against Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors witnessed another disappointment at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday night, as Nsoatreman FC pulled off a surprising 2-1 victory in the match week 25 fixture.

The visitors shot into the lead after midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar netted the opening goal for Nsoatreman in the 23rd minute from close range.

However, they managed to claw their way back into the game just before halftime, courtesy of a strike from midfielder Shadrack Addo, assisted by Enock Morrison.

Nsoatreman sealed their victory in stoppage time with a decisive goal from Mohammed Abdul Rahman.

Speaking after the game, Ocloo attributed his sides defeat to loss of concentration on the part of his players.

“After we conceded, we came back and played well to equalized but in the dyeing embers of the game we lost concentration. In football, you lose concentration and your opponent will punish you and that’s exactly what happened”

“Nsoatreman played very well. I’m not taking anything away from them. Congratulations to them” he added.

With 33 points, the Porcupine Warriors find themselves in the 9th position of the league log.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Dawu to face CAF Confederations Cup campaigners, Dreams FC in matchday 26 of the Premier League.
