Chelsea wing-back Callum Hudson-Odoi has implored his teammates to reflect on their defeat to Juventus.
The Italian Serie A side recorded a 1-0 win over the European Champions on Wednesday in Turin.
Winger Frederico Chiesa scored in the second half to seal all points for the Old Ladies.
“We arrived at the stadium with the right mentality and determination to win and we gave everything, but it wasn't enough," Hudson Odoi said after the defeat.
"Now we must reflect on the reasons. There is a lot of work to be done and a lot to improve.
"It's bad to concede such a quick goal in the second half, we reacted well but we weren't able to score," he added.
Chelsea return to action this weekend as they host Southampton at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
